1. Controller and scope
This notice covers the Azleta Radar newsletter, subscription and preference pages, campaign measurement and the public website at azletasports.com.
Controller: Azleta Sports Agency
Privacy contact: hola@azleta.com
2. Data, purposes and legal basis
Data collected directly
- Email address (required) and name (optional).
- Consent wording/version, subscription and double opt-in timestamps, confirmation status and list membership.
- Technical and security data such as IP address, user agent, request time and server/reverse-proxy logs.
- Delivery, bounce, complaint, unsubscribe, link-click and opening-pixel events. Openings are approximate because clients may block or preload images.
Purposes
- Send Azleta Radar and manage confirmation, preferences and unsubscribe requests.
- Maintain proof of consent and suppression records so that unsubscribed people are not contacted again.
- Protect the service, diagnose incidents and produce campaign performance statistics.
The primary basis is your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); the checkbox is not preselected and the subscription uses double opt-in. Security, fraud prevention and minimal suppression records may also rely on legal obligations or legitimate interests, subject to balancing. No solely automated decision produces legal or similarly significant effects.
You can withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
Retention
Active subscriber data is kept while the subscription remains active. After withdrawal, content is deleted or restricted when no longer needed; only the minimum evidence and suppression information needed to demonstrate compliance, resolve complaints and prevent further sends is retained for the applicable limitation period. Unconfirmed subscriptions and technical logs are removed according to short operational cleanup schedules. Backups expire under their rotation cycle.
3. Recipients and safeguards
Data may be accessed by authorised technology and communications providers acting on our behalf, and by public authorities where legally required. They are subject to confidentiality, security and data-processing obligations.
If an international transfer requires additional protection, an adequacy decision or recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the corresponding Swiss safeguards are used. Data is not sold or shared with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
4. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and, where applicable, object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Write to hola@azleta.com; we may request proportionate proof of identity.
You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). People protected by Swiss law may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
The service is not aimed at children. Do not subscribe if you cannot validly consent under the law applicable to you.
5. Cookies and local storage
The current site does not install advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. It stores only the chosen language and light/dark theme in browser local storage.
The newsletter email may contain an individual opening pixel and measured links as disclosed above. If non-essential web analytics, advertising tags or additional cookies are introduced, they must remain disabled until an appropriate consent mechanism and updated information are deployed.
6. Legal framework and changes
This notice is designed around GDPR Articles 7 and 13, Spain's LOPDGDD and LSSI Articles 21–22, and Switzerland's Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and Unfair Competition Act email-marketing requirements.
Official references: GDPR, Spanish LSSI, AEPD, and Swiss FDPIC advertising guidance.
Material changes will be dated here and, when they affect the basis or purpose of processing, notified or submitted for renewed consent as required.
